Petworth has been making a name for itself the past few years by slowly gentrifying, while still retaining a sense of community. Longtime local hotspots, such as: Qualia Coffee, Petworth Citizen and Looking Glass Lounge act as anchors for the community and are known throughout the city. In addition to the established favorites, new-comers, such as Timber Pizza, Hank’s Cocktail Bar, and Homestead have made quite an impression and are already gaining notoriety around the city.

All of these amenities along with Petworth’s location are causing developers to flock, snatching up vacant lots and redevelopment sites. With multiple mixed-use developments in the pipeline and home values appreciating steadily, Petworth shows no signs of slowing down.
